Diary of a Serial Thriller
The Life and Times of Shane Helms

Entry #4 Thursday, December 2nd, 1999.

First off, I hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving Day! I was able to fly home for a few days and it was good to see my friends and family.

And speaking of friends I want to say congrats and "Good job!" to my friends C.W. Anderson and The Dupps (Jack, Bo, and Puck) for their work in ECW. I have known C.W. since I was in middle school and he had a great match with Rob Van Dam on the ECW TNN show this past Friday. Also, the ECW show which airs on MSG saw the debut of The Dupps. Jack Dupp (aka Big Mike) is one of my best friends and former partner in The Serial Thrillaz and someone I talk to at least twice a week just to hear what outlandish comments he has to make. Bo (or is it Beau?) is also a good friend who can only be described as . . . unique. I predict good things for all these guys and I look forward to the day when we all work for the same company so that we can all get together and create havoc like when did in the OMEGA/SCW days.

Now on to Shane Helms news, I met Vince, Ed and Bill (if you don't know whom I'm referring to then you are so out of the loop that you should just stop reading now) last Sunday in Toronto, Canada at the WCW Mayhem PPV and they all gave me very encouraging and promising news on my WCW future.

Speaking of Canada, Kanyon and I were on set of "Ready to Rumble" all day Saturday until 8:00 PM, we were flown on a chartered jet (when I say we, I meant that Kanyon was flown and that The Serial Thriller had to pull the old stowaway angle) to Toronto at 9:30 PM. We arrived in Toronto at about 5:00 AM. We had to be at the building at 1:00 PM, where we stayed until the last match was over. We left Toronto at Midnight, headed back to Los Angeles on the same chartered jet. We arrived in L.A. at 5:00 AM and we had to be on set at 7:00 AM. Needless to say, that Monday we weren't worth a damn. Yet we endured (aren't we tough) and I even pulled out an impressive stunt to make it worthwhile.

I got another opportunity to work with Randy Savage and again it was great. Savage is and will probably always be one of my favorite performers in this business. This time around though, I got to meet Gorgeous George and she turned out to be extremely polite as well as more beautiful in person than on screen.

The movie is still going great and I have to at least mention that Rose McGowan and David Arquette are gonna steal the show. David is funny as hell, and Rose is very cool!!!.

Thanks go out to Hollywood Producer Jeff Silver for being so kind and generous. Jeff is a definate class act and a good friend to boot. Thanks "Jazzy."

That's all for now, see ya later,
Shane Helms
