Diary of a Serial Thriller
The Life and Times of Shane Helms

Entry #3 Sunday, November 7th, 1999.

First off, WWW.SHANEHELMS.COM is off and running. We are in the process of getting some assistance with new graphics and such, so keep an eye on the site. And to everyone who has contributed to the site, thank you!

I went and saw "Beyond the Mat" starring Mick Foley, Jake Roberts, and Terry Funk, and let me assure you that it is the best wrestling movie I have ever seen. It really touches home!

The WCW/Warner Bros. movie is really looking good and finally has a name, "Ready to Rumble." I expect that it is gonna surprise a lot of people.

I got the chance to meet Courtney Cox last week and she is as polite as she is beautiful. Thanks for the pics Courtney. Another person I met last week was Marilyn Manson. He is definately one cool character! My friends, Shannon Moore and Jeff Hardy, turned me on to Manson back in '97, as they are really, really big fans of his, so I immediately got on the phone to brag to them about meeting him. Hahaha.

My friend Rob Van Dam came by the set this week and we ended up hanging out for a little while. We went to an Ultimate Pro Wrestling event the following night and had a good time there. Rick Bassman is working really hard to produce a top notch indy show. I want to wish RVD's wife Sonya a speedy recovery as she is still injured from a jet ski accident earlier this year.

I am starting to get alot of email questions concerning my career and such, so instead of just answering the individual, I am gonna try to implement a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page. So feel free to send any questions to FAQ@shanehelms.com

Before I go I want to thank a few people. First I want to thank Kanyon for putting his neck on the line to get me a tryout match with WCW. I always believed that once WCW (or WWF for that matter) saw me, that they would be interested in me, but getting seen is very difficult in this business so Chris, I owe you big. I also want to thank DDP for all the advice, all the guys in WCW for making me feel like one of the boys even though they barely know me, and Jimmy Hart for pushing to get me on TV. Thanks goes out to all you guys.

That's all for now, see ya later,
Shane Helms
