![]() Mrs. Sallie Freeze was honored with an open house and birthday party Oct. 13 and 14, in the home of her son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Embrey of Coldwater. Friends and relatives visited throughout the day Saturday, and Sunday afternoon she celebrated with a birthday party. Mrs. Embrey's daughter, Mrs. Will Mask, and daughters-in-law, Mrs. Gene Embrey, and Mrs. Jesse K. Embrey, served refreshments from a table covered with a lace cloth, and two birthday cakes placed on each end with a cut-glass punch bowl in the center. Those who helped "Mrs. Sallie" celebrate were: Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Freeze of Houston, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Billings, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Billings, Jr., Mrs. Ann Rhodes, Kathy, Karla, Lisa, Laura and Tina, Mrs. Dewey Moore, Linda and Terry, Mrs. Gene Embrey, David and Becca, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse K. Embrey, Timmy, Cindy and Michael, Mrs. Kenneth Smith, Mike, Brenda, Ronnie, and Scotty, Mr. and Mrs. John Vanderhook, Dennis, Jon Mark and Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Freeze and Carla, Mrs. Mary Rogers, all of Memphis. Mrs. Inez Flippin, Joe Flippin, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Freeze, Mr. and Mrs. Will Mask, Debbie and Mark, Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Freeze, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Freeze, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Locke, Joyce, Delores, and Jimmy. Monday, Mrs. Freeze returned to her home in the Golden Years Retirement Home in Oxford, with many happy birthday wishes, gifts and very sweet memories of a wonderful weekend with family and friends.
