Welcome to Shadowraven's Tower!

Welcome to my little corner of the web. Here you will find resources and information I have picked up in my web travels. You will also find some information about me and my family for those of you who know me. I will occasionally add my own commentary here or links to comments that I find pertinent. This site is currently undergoing a major overhaul in it's structure so if you get a dead link I apologize. I'm working as fast as I can to fix them!

I have divided this site is divided into 8 main sections and several sub-sections:

	Home Page	The site index as well as quick announcements and news.
	Favorite Links	These are the places I've found on the web that I think have some of the best content.
	Computer Info	General information about software or other computer related things that I have found useful or interesting. You may also find downloads of files, skins, or music here.
	Media	My reviews of Movies, Music, Art, Literature, and Television. (Under Construction)
	Political Info	My rants and raves about whatever or links to others I like. Some good news links can be found here. Includes links to my quotation, ravings, and author biography pages.
	News	The news ticker, weather, site, family, and other news.
	Personal Info	Information about me and my interests. You can avoid this unless you're really hard-up for entertainment. Includes a link to information about myself for the truly bored and masochistic.
	Spiritual Links	Links to Celtic & Medieval resources, history, and Spiritual information.

You will find links to the other pages at the top and the bottom of each page. Links to e-mail me or to sign the guestbook will be towards the bottom of the pages. More content will follow whenever I become so inspired, and when my wife quits harassing me to get off the computer!

For now this site concentrates on providing good resource links to quality information sites. Throughout you will find ratings based on how good or useful I think the site is. This is based on information content, ease of navigation, and how well the site is written or put together. As always when reading information from the internet remember the axiom: "caveat lector" (let the reader beware) or GIGO (Garbage In, Garabage Out). A site's fatcs are only as good, or authoritative as the author or their research. While I try to make sure that my links are solid, do not depend on a single link to be the only authority. That is why I offer several to choose from. It's generally a good idea to use a site (like Wikipedia for example) as a jumping off point into doing more research to get at the facts, but not to use any single site as the only source.

The ratings are shown as stars as follows:

- OK

- Fair

- Good

- Very Good

- Excellent

Anything that is marked Good or above I've had a good chance to review, the other two may be based on my looking them over in a more cursory fashion and they did not impress me at first glance, but had some useful information on them.

And yes I do like to use graphics on my site! No, it's not a newbie thing, I just like graphics. What do the pictures have to do with the subjects they are linked to? Absolutely nothing. I just love those images.

I also plan to be adding other new pages as time permits. Some of the new content will include:

Movie, Music, Book, and Restaurant Reviews. Expanded news page and more editorial content. Better spiritual information and possibly some occult as well. And much more...

What you won't find on these pages:

• Sparkly happy animations all over the page.
• Frames to get trapped in. Don't like them, never liked them, will never use them.
• Excessive use of Flash Animation cluttering up the place.
• No automatic sound or music downloads you didn't ask for.
• Pages that take forever to download, even with a high speed connection.

While this is my space on the web, it is definitely NOT MySpace.
