Second Unitarian Church is at 656 W. Barry Avenue
We are located on Barry, between Broadway and Halsted. Barry is an
east-west street two blocks south of Belmont which is 3200 North. See link to
map at the bottom of this page.
"L" Trains:
- Red, Brown, or Purple lines to the Belmont "L" Stop - walk East on Belmont
to Clark. Barry is 2 blocks South of Belmont (look for the Osco Drug Store).
- The church is approximately 1/2 block East of the Clark/Halsted
intersection.
Bus:
- Halsted: #8 bus to Barry Street
- Broadway: #36 bus to Barry
- Belmont: #77 bus to Clark or Halsted, walk south to Barry
- Clark: #22 bus to Barry
Drive:
- Kennedy Expressway, exit at Belmont, drive east about 3 miles, then turn
right (south) on Clark and drive about 2 blocks to the big 3-way instersection
of Clark, Halsted and Barry, with Sportmart and Walgreens on your right, and
Osco and LaSalle Bank on your left. This is tricky so pay attention: go through
the intersection then immediately turn left on Barry just before LaSalle Bank.
- Lake Shore Drive, exit at Belmont, drive west about 3 stoplights to Clark.
Turn left (South) on Clark.Drive about 2 blocks to the big 3-way instersection
of Clark, Halsted and Barry, with Sportmart and Walgreens on your right, and
Osco and LaSalle Bank on your left. This is tricky so pay attention: go through
the intersection then immediately turn left on Barry just before LaSalle Bank.

- Remember the good old days, way back in early 2004, with free meter parking
on Clark, near Sportmart and free meters on Halsted near Bed Bath & Beyond?
Alas, now you need to feed the meters on Sundays. Read

- Permit to park at Dominicks, for free! Contact office for permit and specific
instructions to avoid abusing Dominicks' generous offer (and avoid being towed
or booted!)
