That first night the Christmas lights were the stars that had been made by Him.
Just as we have one on top of the tree, there was one special Star that night,
that first night.
The first Christmas message was brought by an angel to those who would hear,
and it was from Angels the first Christmas songs came. We still sing of that
wonderful night, but the Angels sang of it that night, that first night.
God gave the greatest gift ever given that night and though man can never give
a greater gift, Three Wise Men still bore their gifts to Him.
No, our lights can never outshine the beautiful stars, our songs will never be
quite the same as coming from the Angels of God. Our gifts can never match the
gift of God - His Son. But we
must
show our Love because of Him. Our message is
still the same. We
must
shine our lights, we
must
sing our songs... and we
must
give our gifts.
It's all because of that night, that first night...Christ was
born!
