I've also been working on the aft bulkhead of the salon. In the picture to the left you can see I have the two outboard sections of the bulkhead cut and fit. I the picture to the right you can see the size of the cockpit a little better. I made it a bit smaller so I would have an extra foot or so of living space in the salon. There will be just enough room in the cockpit for a small table and a couple of chairs.
In the picture to the left you can see that I have the battens pretty well cut and fit on the aft side of the port section of the bulkhead. I'm using two layers of 3/4" plywood just like I did for the bulkheads in the forward section of the boat so I could bend them to fit the curve of the hull. That makes fitting them much easier, and it also makes for a lot neater job.

Today I finished cutting and fitting the bulwark aft of the raised deck and around the stern. Here are a couple of pictures of the bulwark. To the left is the port side, and to the right is the transom bulwark.

To the left is a picture of the starboard side bulwark from the transom forward.
I left out about 8 feet of bulwark up near the bridge to make it a little easier
to lift the engines into the boat. To the right is a view of the inside of the
cockpit with the bulwark installed around it. This area will get 1/4" paneling
on the inside of the bulwark as well.
