Roger at the Rec. Center Pool
Roger Davis is a music professor at Miami University, and has been wearing a thong at the Miami University Recreation center pool for over 4 years. In response to one or two complaints, 2 years ago the pool instituted a rule banning thongs (actually, the rule bans any exposure of the buttocks, but it is only being enforced against thongs). Roger has been fighting it ever since, including making presentations to the Recreation Center board, and the Faculty Senate. The Senate, while sympathetic, seems to have no power to change the rule.
Finally, Roger, along with the Naturist Action Committee, has decided to file a lawsuit for violations of his civil rights. He has hired famed civil rights attorney Scott Greenwood. Unfortunately, civil rights lawsuits cost money, and Roger can use whatever financial support you can provide.
So, please, consider giving generously. A favorable ruling in this case will be a real victory for all thong-wearers in Ohio, and will make it that much tougher for legislators to pass legislation banning thongs or topfree in State Parks.
