Graphic was a gift from Tea.
WOW (Women of Worldnet) created what was my first experience with a virtual quilt. I threw myself into
creating this square.
I took my inspiration from Robin Wood's Tarot,
and used a graphical quilting technique I had stumbled across at
State of Entropy.
Here is the result.
I chose the High Priestess because of an affinity I feel toward the card.
The High Priestess is mysterious, empathetic, at one with nature and the spirit.
She holds a book and a crystal ball, indicating to me a love of knowledge,
and an insight into the unknowable.

Then I took the great graphics I've received or made for other people so far, and began a Friendship Quilt.
I've also made a Literary Quilt, representing Playroom Friends' favorite books.
My favorite quilt, the inspiration of which came from a collage I made, is my Fairyland Quilt.
For the holidays, I have made a Thanksgiving quilt and a Santa Claus quilt. I also made a quilt of all the goodies that my Playroom Friends put in my Christmas "stocking".
I recently wrote a tutorial on creating virtual squares with Paint Shop Pro, and had so much fun doing it, I wanted to share the results of the Cat Dancer squares Playroom Friends made from it. So I made a Cat Dancer quilt.
Bob, a Playroom friend, challenged the Playroom to "do something" with the following saying: "Sisters share a love tied with heartstrings." I took up that challenge and then was inspired to make a Sisters quilt.
I am participating in an Easter egg hunt with the Playroom. Several of us have hidden eggs on our sites which we will all try to find. Each egg will lead us to a quilt square made by that Playroom Friend. The Hunt starts March 10, 2002, and my progress can be tracked by how complete my Easter Egg Hunt quilt is.
Making and sharing quilt squares has been unbelievably fun. I've made enough now, I feel I can share them with more than my Playroom Playmates, so I have created a page with the quilt squares I have made and invite you to take what you'd like.
