A POW/MIA Page for Prayer and Action
This is a site of reverence for our POW/MIAs and contains many prayers and poems. The site may take a while to load as it has many graphics overlaying a marbleized background with barbed wire separating the links while the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" plays in the background and an American flag waves briskly. Army Air Force Historical Association - Formed in 1993, the Army Air Forces Historical Association®, based in northern New Jersey, is an historical and educational non-profit organization. The association participates in air shows, historical retrospect's, educational programs and seminars providing static displays of World War II Army Air Forces memorabilia. These artifacts portray what service life was like when the world was at war and fathers, sons and daughters trained and served in many distant locations.

The Burtonwood Association - Web site for the Burtonwood RAF base. It was constructed in 1939/40 as a dispersed living site for RAF personnel. When the USAAC arrived in November 1943 it was enlarged to include a total of 91 Nissen huts and 25 Gerrard huts.

Strategic Air and Space Museum SAC Museum moved from Offutt AFB to a new facility where Interstate 80 crosses the Platte River. It has also merged with the Society of SAC and the whole outfit has been renamed the Strategic Air and Space Museum. The new facility is enclosed and climate controlled, so most assets have been rescued from deterioration.

The 29th Bomb Group (314th Bomb Wing - 20th Air Force - Guam 1945, 6th BS, 43rd BS, 52nd BS). This is the Official Web Site of the 29th Bomb Group - webmaster Fred Bouzek. The 29th Bomb Group was activated on February 1, 1940 at Langley Field, Virginia. It was comprised of the 6th, 43rd, 52nd, and 411th bomb squadrons. The 411th inactivated on May 20th 1944. On April 1, 1944, the 29th Bomb Group (H) was redesignated as the 29th Bomb Group (VH).

444th Bombardment Group Association Home Page This site is dedicated to the preservation of the 444th Bombardment Group's history. This often forgotten unit of WWII was one of the first two operational B-29 Superfortress combat groups of the 58th Bombardment Wing, 20th AAF.

315th Bomb Wing Association - Northwest Field Guam underwent construction in 1944-1945 and became the home of the 20th Air Force, 315th Bomb Wing. The first B-29s arrived there in May of 1945 after undergoing crew training in the states. Units were formed at Dalhart AAF, Texas. From there, personnel were assigned to their training bases for crew training. The 315th Bomb Wing was under the command of Brigadier General Frank Armstrong. First units to arrive at Northwest Field were personnel of the 315th Wing HQ, 16th and 501st Bomb Groups in April of 1945. The 331st and 502nd Bomb Groups arrived in May, 1945.

B-29s in the Korean War - This site is dedicated to all B-29 flight and ground personnel who served in the Forgotten War. Owner and designer of this site is Mac McGill.
