Notes:
- Viewing lenses (1) are of high-quality optical glass
- Film clips (2) help keep film chips flat
- Mounting frame (3) comes in two choices, one with lines scribed on glass
and one without glass.
- Focusing can be adjusted with focusing knob (4)
- Lenses can be pushed out of the way by sliding the latch (5)
- Unit can be powered with AC (6) or with batteries (9) (use 3 AA
batteries). On/Off switch has three settings, AC, OFF, Batteries.
- Body can be rotated for a comfortable viewing condition.
Simple Procedure for mounting (supplied by the manufacturer):
- Put the half mount with adhesive strips on the mounting frame.
- Place two film chips on the half mount.
- Align the film chips using the scribed lines, the edges of the frame or
until you see a clear/aligned image.
- Move the viewing lenses out of the way.
- Remove the adhesive strips and carefully stick the film chips to the half
mount
- Attach the other half of the mount.
- Insert the stereo pair in a handheld viewers to inspect the image.
If it is not satisfying, dismantle and repeat the alignment procedure.
