25mm Achromatic Lens w/mount for Stereo Viewers

Note: Each bid is for only one lens! If you need two lenses than you will have to buy two viewers!

These lenses are 25mm in diameter and 60mm in focal length.

They are fine achromatic lenses of very good quality.

They are ideal for stereo slide viewers to view up to full frame stereo slides.

They can be used to replace the lenses in the following stereo viewers: Kodaslide I, Airequipt. I have personally changed Airequipt lenses with great results.

These same lenses are used in the Channel viewer (my favorite viewer for taking pictures of stereo slides with my stereo camera) as well as previewing lens attachments like the SAM previewer.

You can either use the lenses in their mounts, or you can take them out (it is easy to remove the retaining ring, but it is a good idea to use an optical spanner, like the one I sell in my ebay store)

Important Note: Achromatic lenses are NOT symmetric. They have to be installed in one specific way. In this, like most achromatic lenses, the thick lens (as seen from the edge) goes to the front (viewing/eye side)
