A variety of hammers are used around the saddle and harness shop. Tack hammers for attaching leather to the saddle tree, will have a small head and a nail claw. Riviting hammers similar to those used in metal working. Saddler and Cobbler hammers typicaly have domed and polished faces for shaping leather to the saddle or to forms.
