Bissonnette, Edge Tools:
Use:
A saddle and harness maker will create a rounded edge on leather parts that contact the horse or rider. A rounded and burnished edge will be less likely to sore the horse or wear against other leather parts. A Bissonnette edge tool creates a rounded edge and has the advantage that it may be pushed or pulled along the leather.
