- I believe this tool to be as described in U.S. Patent No. 67313, dated July 30, 1867 and the patent holder to be Albert E. Johnson of Oxford Massachusetts.

- Marked, "W & C WYNN" "WARRANTED" and the tool numbers "2" and "5".
- Used to pull and stretch leather over a shoemakers last. A good description of this tool can be found in the R.A. Salaman reference, pages 146 to 150.

- A tool used to stretch a boot to make them more comfortable for the wearer.

- Found on page 44 of the Henry Aurther catalogue reprint, listed as seam sett.

- Marked with a number 11, this is most likely the number of impressions per inch.
- A tool used to "fake up" the welt of a shoe to give the impression that it was stitched.
