White River State Park
IndyZoo isn't the San Diego Zoo but it's real
nice.
The Eiteljorg Museum is gorgeous.
The Indiana State Museum is too.
The NCAA Hall of Champions was built here when
the NCAA moved it's
headquarters here from Colorado.
This site has a lot of info and a good view of downtown from the
fountain
pool in the canal.

Yes, the shot was taken during the marathon. The 'bubble'
over the street
on the far right is the ArtsGarden
Be sure to check out ISO. Raymond Leppard retired several
years ago but he
still conducts a concert or two a year and he still lives in
Indianapolis
part of the time.

Dinosphere: Now You're in Their World
The picture on the web page isn't just artwork - its a photo of
the building
attached to the Children's Museum. Way cool! Way,
way, way cool. It used
to be one of those 360 degree theaters but the company that made
those films
was bought out by... a competitor... who claimed they were
going to
continue making the movies - then they didn't. q:-(
If there're no films
what need has one for a theater built just for them?
This is a really nice piece in the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Note that CMI offers over a dozen acres of exhibits. Still
the biggest in
the world.
