I grew up in Washington DC. Your pictures of The Royal Blue
and other trains in that area, including all the Pennsylvania RR
passenger trains to NY,
took me back a long time! My family went to visit the then new
Cincinnatian
around the time of its first passenger-carrying trip, and I still have
a few old
ticket stubs.

REMINDER: A web site Guest Book's designed communication
function is one-way -- FROM the guest TO the site owner and other
visitors. If you are seeking dialogue or answers to (non-rhetorical)
questions, you are better off to send e-mail or to post on a message
board, depending on whether you wish to query the site owner or other
guests. (This site's message board has been discontinued due to
disuse, but visitors are invited to submit comments or questions to
the Mailbag on my other site, "Tangents," at
http://tangents.home.att.net/.)

I had (and will continue to have) a lot of fun browsing your
site. I love the low graphics and truly helpful use of colors - a very
tasteful look... and what's all that stuff? Oh wow, real *content*!
It's been a fun read. Thanks for making a worthwhile stop.

"Humanism only opposes religion when religion opposes
humanity." Nicely put. An atheist myself, I have no problem with the
humanistic side of religion. It's the anti-human fringe that scares
the crap out of me. Anyway, you signed my guestbook, so I thought I'd
return the favor and take a look around. Well done. I'll be back.

An absolutely marvelous website! With almost no graphics, yet
still colorful and pleasing to the eye. Wish I had thought of that
when I had a website. You're not too shabby as a wordsman either.
Congratulations!
