Because the public issues sections below had come to dominate The Gent's Lounge, effective 1 September 2001 I have established a new web site, Tangents, especially for them.  All currently relevant items from the following sections have been transferred.  All other sections of the Lounge — Animals, Bicycling, Classical Music, Railroads, and Travel — will remain at their original locations.
