They
all are gone,
every
one.
The
beds are made,
the
dishes done.
I've
dusted twice.
It
should be nice,
no
drinks to get,
no
kids to fret,
no
bothering
with
morning snacks;
just
time to think,
kick
back, relax.
I'll
sit a while
in
calm repose.
With
entire house
so
neat and bright,
perhaps
I'll doze.
Oh,
no! I can't --
it's
too darn quiet!
