Naked trees shiver
in frigid temperature,
await spring attire.

Freezing winter wind
howls against my windowpane,
crackling fire fights back.

Snow covers housetop
while icicles hang from eaves,
I get out Mom's quilts.

Hungry homeless man
sits on park bench in the snow....
Christmas means giving.
