Below are 14 pictures of scrimshaw paddle boats that was done on fossilized walrus ivory by two of my students. To show all the detail I enlarged the scrimshaw by a factor of three. The actual size of the first two are 1 1/2" X 3 ". As I live near the Great Mississippi, I thought that a few boats for my collection would me neat.
