JAM publishes refereed scholarly work from all academic disciplines that relate to measurement theory and its application to constructing variables. WINSTEPS.COM calls it the “most authoritative journal for Rasch research.” Under its publishing division, JAM Press, it publishes a variety of books dedicated to exploring the principles of objective measurement.
IOMW 2008 has come and gone. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, especially all of the presenters. There were many excellent presentations at the conference. JAM Press will likely present two Rasch measurement workshop in 2010. Please watch this space for further details. The workshops provide an introduction to Rasch measurement, covering all aspects of dichotomous and polytomous Rasch models, as well as, many-facet Rasch measurement. Workshop directors will be Richard Smith and Everett Smith. Workshop attendees will receive a copy of two JAM Press books, Introduction to Rasch Measurement and Rasch Measurement: Advanced and Specialized Applications, and a one year subscription to the Journal of Applied Measurement.
