  This unique wildlife replica features a guilded beaver displaying his handiwork on an illuminated tree stump.  The life-like essence of this elusive creature has been captured in the finest detail.
  This is the second of three original American Beavers. It was casted with recycled glass and mounted on a base with an informative plaque about beavers.   A replaceable flourescent light illuminates the stump.  The complete sculpture measures 30"x15"x17" and weighs 35 pounds.

These new realistic, painted, reinforced concrete models stand 18 inches high and weigh about 120 pounds.   

*Acrylic sealers and paints provide a beautiful, long-lasting finish suitable for any outdoor setting.  I get a very bad back ache everytime I try to move one of these.  It usually hurts for a few days to a week.  I thought that if they were really heavy they would not be likely to be stolen...  Yes, they are too heavy to ship...

The American Beaver is rather easy to paint.  A dark black or brown primer coat is applied then a dry brushing with lighter brown paints brings out the incredible details.  A touch of white paint on the Teeth and maybe some green on the leafs on the base makes for an awesome creature.

Bronze American Beaver

    I did cast a couple of  American Beavers in fiberglass.  They can be lighter than concrete but less durable than Bronze.  Now that's cool...

A Bronze edition is ready to go...
 They are identical to the concrete version, however the base is not as thick.  These will provide extended value and will withstand the extremes of an outdoor setting for an extremely long time.  

The initial price is $1,250 each which includes a real numbered Bronze American Beaver casting finished with an elegant patina, boxed, and ready to ship.  Half payment is due when the wax model is shipped to the foundry and the second half payment will be due about 9 weeks later, in addition to shipping, and applicable Sales Taxes when the model is ready to ship directly to you from the foundry.  Let us know if you need additional information or want a Bronze American Beaver.

New Concrete Molds are made of  high quality polyurethane rubber with a hard outer shell constructed of fiberglass and wood.  We do not skimp on details or materials.  The mold should be good for hundreds of castings.  The concrete beavers are very heavy and you would not want to get into this unless you are properly equipped to handle heavy duty concrete casting...
