Brake System
The Production racing rules allow the use of any master cylinders and pedals. With that in mind a set of Tilton adjustable pedals with dual master cylinders (clutch also) were used. These units are a more durable than stock units and you can vary the bore size to suit. Another big advantage is getting them away from the heat in the engine compartment.

This is the interior prior to fitting the new brake system. Since the stock dash is now history, a mount was fabricated to attach the steering column to the roll cage. |

This is the mount that was fabricated. Spreading the load from the firewall to the roll cage tubes makes for an very rigid set up. |

The accelerator pedal had to be "jogged" around the new brake mount so a crude fixture was made to maintain the correct position of the pivot points relative to the throttle linkage. |
