Abstract OMC focuses primarily on making implants for correcting spinal deformities. OMC has three lines of implants: Plates and screws for spines that are degenerating or have undergone trauma. Hooks and rods for deformities such as scoliosis. "Cages" to replace damaged vertebrae. All are machined from stainless steel or titanium. For machining, OMC relies on EdgeCAM software from Pathtrace Systems, Inc. (Southfield, MI) - a supplier of CAM systems. The company says EdgeCAM provides a much-valued tool to get the machining process right. XX
