Group discussion will be encouraged by analyzing visual images of touch interactions between therapists/patients, families, etc. Hands-on lab experiences are emphasized, as participants identify and interpret behavioral responses to initial touch, then adjust and adapt non-intrusive handling techniques, which communicate caring, and sensitivity.
