the Civil War under the name of Aimé Gautier, at Mobile, Alabama

the month of May, 1863, in Company E, 22nd Louisiana Heavy Artillery from

same of Louisiana, that he served honorably until Paroled May 11th, 1865 at
Meridian, Mississippi on the 11th of May, 1865; and that he remained true to
the Confederate States until, the surrender, at which time he was in the
above
command, as a Private
