Marriage Bond #287, Jackson County, Mississippi:
That We,
Eugene
Gautier as principal, and F.H. Lewis as security, both of the county of
Jackson
and State of Mississippi, are held and firmly bound unto the State of
Mississippi, in the penal sum of One Hundred Dollars, lawful money, for the
payment of which, well and truly to be made, we and each of us do hereby
bind
ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally,
firmly by these presents.
Witness our hands, and seals, this 27th day
of
November A.D., 1890.
The Condition of this Obligation is: That whereas
application has been made to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County
for
a license for the marriage of Eugine Gautier and Mifs [Miss] P. E. White.
Now Therefore, if there shall be no lawful cause to obstruct the marriage
for
which said license is granted, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to
remain in full force and effect.

Found Marriage: At 8 o'clock last Thursday [27-Nov-1890] evening, Mr.
Eugene Gautier of West Pascagoula, Miss., and Miss Palmyre Elizabeth White
of
this place, were married, Rev. Father C. A. Oliver, officiating. The bride
is
the lovely and accomplished second daughter of the late D. Prieur White of
New
Orleans. The groom is engaged in the sawmill business and is a gentleman of
marked promise. After the ceremony the bridal party was entertained at the
residence of the bride's mother, of Pascagoula Street where a repast was
served, after which they left for West Pascagoula, their future home.
