Dickey's RCA career produced 4 number 1
singles, "9,999,999 Tears" "Angels,Roses, and Rain"; "Rocky", and
"Never Ending Song of Love". As well as "Ashes Of Love",(top5)
and "Busiest
Memory In Town" (top20). All were
produced by Roy Dea.
Although Roy was never one to display any
awards and the likes,
I have a plaque he received for "Angels,
Roses, & Rain" proudly
displayed on my wall.
Dickey began concentrating on the songwriting
aspect of the music industry in the mid '70's with 8 number 1 hits
to his credit.
