  level.  The extended arm position is tiring.  Exert special effort to

  support R-arm, avoid  resting it on her R-shoulder.  (Girl must support

  her extended arms weight, do not hang on his extended hands.)

Vienese waltz.  Fast tempo, 50 to 60 (less than 70) meas per min Wz.  The

  plc & fall on L-flat permits dancer to turn & progress on a short radius &

  dance around ptr on a fixed point.  The 1-step Lball ½RT provides a

  fixed point rest bet each 3-step ½T burst of speed around ptr.  Timing is:

  twirl is better.  The VINE cue word of VINE TWIRL starts girl's recall &

  react for a vine bef hearing the cue twirl.  She starts sd-R LT adj to

  vine, instead of sd-RT to twirl.  Late cue delivery causes her to start a

  vine (LT rotation) & a chg for a delayed twirl (RT rotation).

 

Virginia reel.  American contra-line dance.
