  danced from lines. Don't discuss or identify what went wrong or who was

  cause of breakdown. If other dancers want to discuss the cause, ask them

  to wait until after the dance. If needed, ask the caller for help. Avoid

  being a Know-it-all who explains why the square broke down, & identifies

  who goofed.

    Avoid breakdowns: Listen to the caller; take small stps; keep a small

  square; don't talk to others or nag partner; omit extra swings & twirls;

  maintain good balance; use good manners.  Broken squares can be repaired

  in seconds, Broken friendships - maybe never.
