Includes information on cleaning and repair that you cannot find anywhere else. There is no better collection of color photographs of slide rules published anywhere. Well over 100 photographs including pictures of 99 (by my count) different slide rules ranging from common to rare antiques.

of the Slide Rule originally printed in 1947, revised 1955. 5-1/4
x 8 inches, 149 pages plus nine pages of front matter. Emphasis on
basic multiplication, division and trigonometry, no general discussion
of log log or inverse scales but there are special chapters on K&E
Polyphase and Log Log Duplex and Post Versalog Rules that discuss these
scales.
