The Rose Stone Trio brings creative insight and dynamic life to music using the flute, harp and harpsichord. The trio reflects Oklahoma’s colorful resources as it presents classical, jazz, and popular music with a spirited touch.

The Rose Stone Trio’s versatility is sought from consular corps concerts to jazz festivals. The glittery glissandos of Linda Barton Paul’s harp, the sparkling sound of Lillian McConnell’s harpsichord, and the dancing melodies of Tamra Kirk’s flute set the stage for delightful concerts.

Performing at Oklahoma governor’s events to the OK Mozart Festival to the United States Presidential Inaugural celebration, the Rose Stone Trio presents a unique listening experience to audiences of all ages. The trio is available for salon series, community concerts, children’s educational programs, festivals, college informances, social, corporate and holiday events.

The Rose Stone Trio was established in 1991 by three native Oklahomans performing their favorite Oklahoma music, from country to jazz, on classical instruments. Lillian McConnell, harpsichordist, Linda Barton Paul, harpist, and Tammy Kirk, flutist, have enjoyed professional careers as musicians in solo, symphonic and concert appearances. Named for the Oklahoma designated state Rose Rock, they are nationally acclaimed for performances at the OK Mozart International Festival , the U.S. Open Golf Tournament events, and a Presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C.

An Oklahoma Arts Council Touring Program Ensemble, the Rose Stone Trio also is listed with the MidAmerica Arts Alliance Fund and the Chamber Music Association of America. All three arts organizations provide partial funding for approved Rose Stone Trio concerts.

Large Auditoriums or outside: three microphones and boom stands with one stage monitor.

As members of Chamber Music of America, the Oklahoma Arts Council and Mid-America Arts Alliance Touring Programs, they tour nationally, performing at the Oklahoma governor’s events, The OK Mozart Festival, and the U.S. Presidential Inaugural Celebration. The trio is available year around for salon series, community concerts, school informances, festivals, social, corporate and holiday events.
