Ian's Story

On May 10th, Mothers day of 1998, our son Ian was coming home to visit us from a weekend spent in Gainesville, Florida with his fiancée. Ian was in a single car accident. Ian inhaled polluted water while his car was upside down in a ditch. He lived sixteen days in the hospital Intensive Care unit, always heavily sedated. On May 26th we lost our only child. Ian was 23 years old.

Ian gave us tremendous pride and joy in raising him. Ian was an inquisitive person, persuing many interests, living and enjoying life to the fullest. Ian was famous for his sense of humor. He was a giving and caring person. He loved all animals. His favorite was tigers.

Ian was a crisis counselor and would have received his masters degree in psychology from Rollins College in a few months. He planned to be a Junior High School Counselor in order to help guide teens in their lives.

Ian was a great asset to this planet. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Ian,
We Miss You More Than Words Can Say!
