NORMAL BEAN
the magazine
Back oh, so long ago, a
little magazine began publication. Dedicated to the worlds of Mahlon
Blaine and Edgar Rice Burroughs and even a bit of Philip Jose Farmer,
the publisher-and-chief-dishwasher sat down and put out seven issues
over a sporatic five years.
With a 70 page graphic novel version of (the first half of) Farmer's The Stone God Awakens, a two page teaser of ERB's The Resurrection of Jimber-Jaw, several pieces of previously published and unpublished Blaine artwork, and miscellaneous odds and ends, the project ground to a halt.
Back issues are still available at nominal cost, plus postage and handling.
