Call to Order, 15 board members in attendance.

February minutes presented and approved.

Treasury Report
Checking account balance is $905.52
$50 Founder's day room deposit paid
2005 Scholarship Fund started

UW Marching Band Spring Concert (April 17):

UW Athletics Social:
March 6 at BW3. Guests welcome

Kidsfest wrap-up:
Eastwood Bank contributed $50.00 for expenses
Board approved $100.00 to reimburse Ronald McDonald House for expenses.

Scholarships:
April 15 deadline for applications
Reminder letter will be sent to schools soon

Founder's Day (May 20th):
Tickets are $20.00
Auction/Raffle
Sports memorabilia Arriving - 4 of 9 requests replied already
Will try to get some band memorabilia from Mike Lorenz
Ordered several "Miracle on Ice" caps, to be autographed by Mark Johnson (scored two of the four goals)
Speaker - contacted Mike Lorenz by email last month, will call him this month and stop and see him on April 16th.
WAA Invitations? (Need to be complete - Ruth Lindorff)

Newsletter:
Will be sent out around May 1
Will contain information on Founder's Day, Membership and Scholarships Distribution
Will be send by email if Club has your address
Broader distribution list - will include recent grads, IBMers, Mayo clinic, previous members not currently paid

Application Forms updated
Event Section now includes Kidsfest update
Motion to get new "business" cards with updated URL failed
Created a new page for Newsletters
Meyer and Dosch attended teleconference education session

2005 Officer Nominations:
Officers and Directors: Pres, VP, Sec, Treas, Founder's Day, Scholarship
Directors: develop a slate with criteria 1 meeting, 1 event per year

Replacement activity for High School Basketball:
1. Ronald McDonald "House Dinner"
Description: 6pm, plan for 60 people, ½ kids, prepare most of the meal away from the house, possible menus include: pot luck, lasagna, pizza, soup and salad, etc (Patty)
Motion to add House Dinner event passed
2. Scholarship materials for Fall, make our request from Admissions more specific
"Preview" foldout for Jr's - initial interest
"View Book" for Sr's - definite interest, contains application
3. National College Fair in Spring in the cities (two day) (URL www.nacac.com)
Rochester public high schools sponsor a bus, credited as a field trip - UW attends
Encourage attendance, make sure all nine schools are aware and plan
4. Minnesota College Fair (URL www.mn-acac.org)
At RCTC in the spring, smaller number of colleges, mostly in state. - non UW
Look into providing a UW presence, maybe UW Alumni
