| "Roadrailer" is a happily married couple who has been railfanning
together since they began dating in the mid-1980s. On their third
date, he took her to see the local engine terminal at night - she pondered
whether she had enough money in case she needed to call a cab, but it turned
out that he really did just want to see the engine terminal!
He's been a rail buff since age two, got his first N-scale train set when he was eleven, and began photographing trains in his teenage years. |

She is from a hobby-oriented family and enjoyed the back
roads traveling that her family did during vacations. The traveling
involved in locating trains in remote and rural areas suits her.
He's still the chief railfan who plans the family vacations and does all the photography (including the photos rotated on this web site), while she's the chief navigator, videographer and web head. They have one child who is already showing an interest in trains. |
