Once upon a time, there was a young Andrew, who had a few friends from out of town thinking they wanted to explore some of the country around Sydney. So he gathered some of his "somewhat local" friends to do a treck to the Royal National Park. Of course before leaveing, one must plan for ferry departure times. Arriving 5 minutes after the hourly ferry leaves allows plenty of time for that first cup of coffee and fag to start the day right.

After catching that elusive ferry, we start in Bundeena working your way south along a well beaten path... unless your following young Andrew, in which case you eventually get to this gorgeous lookout... by way of a few minor thickets. Worst of all, once you do get the view, theirs still no kiosk to get an iced tea or bench to rest your weary feet after the long 2 1/2 k walk....

At the top of the Royal National Park, looking north towards Crunulla.... before the thickets and scuffs Young Andrew so kindly pointed out.

Off to the left of this one you can see the trail young Bernie and Viv decided to use for suicide practice on the mountain bikes. Some of us carried our bikes while others, well, they're all still alive to tell the tale.
