| Does this Chilean postage due stamp have some sort of provisional "Multada" (postage due) handstamp, or is this only a cancellation? |
| In fact, the boxed "MULTADA" is a cancellation. It was used only over these stamps, and several types of the cancel exists. Sometimes you can find postage dues stamps with regular postal cancels, but the normal practice was to use the special boxed ones. [Milenko Obilinovic] |
