This looks like many of the postal
tax stamps issued by Spain during the Civil War, but is not listed in any
of the references I have. "Raiza de Sonsierra". What is it?

This is not in "Catalog de los sellos locales emetidos
durante la guerra civil Espanola 1936-39" edited by Federation Espanola
des Societades Filatelicas Madrid (1995). It looks as the above but it
is not listed in that "complete" catalog. [Fabio Vaccarezza]

I found your RAIZA DE SONSIERRA offered in Filatelia Llaach of Barcelona for $1, in its
catalog of "Espana Guerra Civil 1936-1939" edited as a special edition in 1994, in the part of ZONA
REPUBLICANA, but it is without Gomez-Guillamon catalog number, so probably
it is false... or a not listed....[Fabio Vaccarezza]

This is written up in Theo Van Dam's article "Fakes, Phantoms and Fantasies of the Spanish
Civil War" printed in the American Philatelist Jan/Feb 1982, listed as Fantasy label
