Alice THORNSBERRY who was born 1824 VA and who married
Jonathan EVANS in Floyd Co., Ky in June of 1843. Alice is the
daughter of John THORNSBERRY, the son of John THORNSBERRY and Susannah
STARNES.
John was married to a Frances COLLINS? in Floyd Co., Ky in 1833. He was in Kaufman Co. TX in the 1860 census. Can you shed any light on Alice? She may have had sisters named Jemima, Lucinda and Arta.
Delmer Thornsberry was born in Carr Creek, Knott County KY in 1935. His parents names were Dennis and Dorothy Thornsberry, not positive but her maiden name was Dorothy Mullins. Can anyone fit them into the family tree?
Sarah Elizabeth Thornberry was born 1797 and lived in Scott Co., Va. She married Joseph Starnes. Can anyone link her into the family tree?
Martha Jane Thornberry(widow ?)1824-1882 showed up in Ms in
1840s from Lauderdale co.Al.???? Her maiden name may be Hill.
She is possibly the widow of John Thornberry, son of Joseph A. Thornberry, decesed interstate 1825 Lauderdale co Al. He left extensive estate, a widow an five children. The son John was born about 1820 and had a child born 1843.(John W.)
Cynitha Thornsberry born Sept. 27, 1867 in Harlam Co. daughter of Winston
Thornsberry and Mary Adkins. She married a Jess Hopper born 9/17/1885, of Floyd Co, Ky. She died march 19, 1962 in Floyd Co.
Beachie Thornsberry b,Sept. 30, 1920 in Knott Co. was a daughter of Cynthia Thornsberry and William (Green) Slone they were never married.
She (Cynthia) also had two other daughters by a man named William
(Bill) Gibson son of Harim (Harm) Gibson. They were not married either.
Here is a list of Cynthia's brother's and sister's, I don't have any
dates but all of them were from Floyd or knott co, KY.

Jamima Thornsberry was married to a Benjamin Ousley who had a daughter
Alice Delaney Ousley who married James Hicks and they had a daughter
Lucinda Hicks and married Marion Chaffins. They were in their 90's when they died in the late 1960's.
Ella Thornsberry of KY b. abt.1863 d.March 20, 1935
her siblings were: Sue Thornsberry Witherspoon, Merce Thornsberry, Uless Thornsberry, and Ruford Thornsberry. Ella married a Harden-Hardin all of her children were born in Ky.
She is buried At Oak Hill Cemetary in Evansville, Ind. Next to her son Carl
Hardin. Any info on Ella?
Johnager (John) Benjamin Thornsberry was born July 13, 1878 and died Nov. 6, 1973. J.B. married Ada Frances Yakely, born April 2, 1892 and died March 7, 1928. They had atleast two sons: Ira Cleveland and Olan Thornsberry and at least two daughters: Norma and
Macdeline (Mac). J.B.'s father may have been Joseph or John Thornbury.
