Martha Young was linked to Samuel Eblen by Marriage date of 4 Feb 1818, but this is the wrong Sam Eblen. I Don't know who she actually was married to.
Nancy Palestine Eblen married George Washington Potts had daughter Mattie Ethel Potts who was born in West Plains Mo. 1892. Nancy died 4 years later of T.B. Looking for info on how she links to the rest of the family.
Isaac EBLEN Joseph L. Eblen, and Lemuel Griffin Eblen of West Plains, Howell Co., MO. Both list Isaac EBLEN AS THEIR FATHER AND SARAH HARVEY EBLEN AS MOTHER and both list Isaac L. Eblen as another brother, who was born in 1866, between the births of Lemuel and Joseph. I have now a new reference to Isaac as being born in 1825, in Henry County, TN. and married Sarah Harvey, (parents Rhoda and Joe Harvey). He died in April, 1911 in Peace Valley, Mo. Sarah died in January, 1891 or 2.
I have searched Henry Co TN, until I am blue in the face, but cannot find one reference to any Eblen. Comes now Isaac L. into my focus. I have just received his death certificate. He was born 7/5/1866 in Weakeley Co, TN. His father was Griffin Eblen, his mother was Vivan McFarland. A son of Griffin Eblen and Vanny McFarland, named Isaac Lafayette Eblen, b 7/5/1866 d 4/15/1931 in Peacy Valley, Howell county, MO, buried in New Hope Cemetery, near Peace Valley. We (there is now a group of 3 all related by sons of ole Isaac and Sarah) have located Edward Eblen, married Elizabeth Dunn, who had 8 or 9 children, of which Griffin was the youngest, Edward was the 4th son of John William Eblen and John William was the 4th child of John Eblen of Roane county, TN. The first born of John Eblen was an Isaac does anyone know if this Issac fits with the above?
