JOHN C. DOERR'S NEW STORE. -- In another column of to day's paper will be found the advertisement of this gentleman. He keeps on hands [sic] dry goods, groceries, hardware, queensware, boots and shoes, hats and caps, bonnets, ready made clothing, and many other articles to [sic] numerous to mention, all of which he offers to the public at low prices.Go and examine his stock and goods, and if you have any Greenbacks, purchase. Mr. Doerr will not refuse to take gold or silver in payment for goods. Read his advertisement.
DELIBERABELY HELPING HIMSELF TO GREENBACKS. -- A few weeks ago a young man, a member of Captain Minor's company, by the name of Henderson, conferred, a favor upon Messrs. Killian & McBride, by visiting their establishment, and politely releiving their money till of some of its small change. he was arrested a few days since and taken before Justice Bridgman for examination. The examination was had, when he was required to give bail for his appearance at te April term of the Circuit Court, which he succeeded in given. The Grand Jury was doubtless attend to his case at the April term.
