Course Requirements:

  1. Attendance at every class.
  2. Class participation, including a brief presentation on March 14 (see below).
  3. Two brief (2-3 page) reflection papers based on the readings, class discussion and your personal responses. Due January 31 and February 21.
  4. A 6-10 page paper on a topic of your choosing. This paper should include references to assigned readings, additional readings beyond class assignments, and your own personal experience and reflection. Each student will make a brief presentation on his or her work in class on March 14. The completed paper is due by March 21.
