Identifying the Rank of Myers-Briggs Functions
First, examine the last letter in the type; this will determine
which function is extraverted:
If it is J, it will be the Judging
Function (Thinking or Feeling)
If it is P, it will be the Perceiving
Function (Sensing or Intuition)
Next, look at the first letter in the type; this indicates
whether the dominant function is introverted or extraverted:
If it is E, the extraverted function
(identified above) is the dominant function; the
other (introverted) is the auxiliary
If it is I, the extraverted function
is the auxiliary; the introverted is the dominant
