Zachary

Zachary is a 7 year old neutered brightly marked black and tan boy. He is current on shots, on heartworm medication and will be vet checked.

He was surrendered to Rescue by a heartbroken individual who had to move into "no pets" housing closer to her job. Family members were not in a position to take him in.

Zachary is in a puppy cut. He has a skin condition which is responding well to medicated baths and a limited ingredient diet. We trimmed up his head and face and he behaved marvelously.

He is a low key boy. His former owner said his favorite pastime is sleeping on the couch or on someone's lap.

He is housebroken and crate trained - if he is pottied in a reasonable amount of time. He is good on a leash.

Reportedly Zachary is fine with most cats and likes other dogs. He is intimidated by very small children but likes to play with school-age kids.

He has lived around handicapped seniors and knows how to stay out of the way of a wheelchair.
