Tucker is an approximately 2 year old brown roan & tan male. He's neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on his shots.
He was surrendered
to Rescue by breeders as part of a deal whereby authorities would not file neglect
charges against them. He was clipped down before he came here, as he was a mess from being chained to a doghouse. He is somewhat nervous around clippers, but behaved for his bath.
Tucker is a delight. Considering his background, he's adjusting very well in foster care. He's silly and playful and likes the other dogs and kitties here. The more you tell him he's a good boy, the faster he spins and wags his tail. He gives kisses and rolls over for a belly rub, and then moans and groans to show his delight. He also yodels when he yawns, which makes me laugh. If he hears you laugh, he keeps it up, he's a very amusing little boy. He WANTS to please.
He still needs to learn some manners. Heloves to be praised and patted on the head.
Tucker is doing GREAT in the housebreaking department. He's on a schedule, so that helps. He knows to potty outside, but will have an occasional accident if nobody is paying attention.
