Sunshine
is a 2 year old spayed buff female. She is current on shots and on heartworm preventative
and has been vet checked.
She had been surrendered to an urban shelter. She walked with a limp and Rescue
had her scheduled for corrective surgery - but an X-ray revealed that she had probably
been hit by a car and that Time would allow her hip to heal on its own.
She is freshly groomed, and was quite the little wiggler at the groomers. But she
gave kisses and wagged her tail the whole time she was on the table.
Sunshine is a very sweet girl. She just loves attention, and is a great cuddler.
She is not really sure how to play just yet, but we are working on it, and
she seems to like the ball.
She is crate
trained and on her way towards being potty trained. She will potty outside, but doesn't
yet know how to "ask" to go out. We are trying to teach her to ring the
bells on our door to let us know.
She is somewhat apprehensive with new dogs, and doesn't like other dogs around her
foster-mom. She doesn't even seem to know that there are cats in the house at all.
We would really like to see her go to a home where someone would be at home and finish
her potty training, and where she will be the only dog. She would very much like
to be the center of attention.
She was fostered by Cocker Angel Lynn.
