Rowan
is a beautiful red spayed female, 7 months old. She is current on shots, vet checked
and on heartworm preventative. She and her brother Zackery had been surrendered to an urban shelter. A well-meaning individual adopted them both and then realized that she gotten in over her head and called on Rescue to bail her out.
Rowan had what was presumably her first hair cut this week. She was wiggly at first, but when she realized that no one was going to hurt her, she settled down.
She is a sweet, happy little dog. She has "normal" puppy energy, but is happiest when cuddling on your lap. She loves to give kisses, and she sleeps with her foster Mommy and Daddy at night, and sleeps through the night! She doesn't care for being crated, as she loves to be beside her people. A true "velcro dog"..
Rowan is very good with the dogs at her foster home, as long as no one tries to steal her toys! She also does well with cats. Her groomer described her as very "birdy". She is paper trained. We would like to see Rowan go to a home where someone can be with her, so that her house training can be finished.
