Rosalita
is an approximately 8 month old red and white spayed girl with a natural tail. She
is current on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative and vet checked.
She had originally been adopted from a breeder who died, leaving numerous dogs abandoned
in her house. She had been in poor condition, but recovered nicely after several
months of TLC. Her new "mother", however, could not keep her permanently
because she didn't have enough time for her.
Rosalita had never had a haircut. She doesn't have an excess of coat, so there were
no mats. But her face needed "to be found" under the hair, and she didn't
particularly enjoy the process.
She is timid
when you first meet her - very much a "mama's girl." Once she warms up,
she very affectionate to her favorite people.
Her owner described her as happy, friendly and well behaved. She was normally not
left alone for more than 4 hours at a time and might tend to howl if left for longer.
Rosalita is housebroken and crate trained. She seems okay around other dogs and fine
with cats.
